What is more fun than snooping around a farm with all the old buildings, equipment, fences, etc?! I found details that had so much texture and color and interest for me that I'm sure I'm not done with this location.
As I travel around... I am looking for oddities, unusual shapes and colors, things to capture my (and your) interest. My attention is usually focused on the detail that is in the middle of something bigger.
A desert trip becomes an exploration of dead cactus... I seem to find beauty in the dead plants -- the inner skeleton, the broken limbs, the change in color. Some day I may get a rude surprise as I crouch down and check out the plants up close with my camera!
